Birds really do chirp like crazy early in the morning. I always thought that was like just some descriptive imagery authors throw in for filler. The reason I've never noticed before now is that I'm usually not responsive until ten or so. Not sure why I'm functioning early today but there it is. Although, the literary chirping birds are a little different from real-life chirping birds. The chirping of birds in books is always described as cheerful, but right now, here in the real world, that's only a half-truth. Granted the birds sound cheerful, but it's not the likeable kind of cheerfulness. It's more the annoying classmate who doesn't know when to stop talking, oblivious kind of cheerful. These birds need to stop. Maybe if I go outside and yell pull they'll get the message.
